- AI training welcome
- Attribution only
tl;dr — Website text is CC BY 4.0: reuse it for anything, including commercially and for AI training, as long as you credit Maguyva. Our name, logos and code are not part of the deal. (CC BY 4.0)
1. What Is Licensed
The text of maguyva.ai is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). That covers the documentation, blog posts and marketing pages, plus llms.txt, llms-full.txt and the Markdown version of each page. It covers every language version of that text.
2. What You Can Do
Under CC BY 4.0 you may:
- Copy and redistribute the text in any medium or format
- Translate, adapt, summarize and build on it
- Use it commercially
- Include it in datasets, search indexes and AI training corpora, and use it to train, fine-tune or evaluate AI models
3. How to Give Credit
Credit "Maguyva (maguyva.ai)", link to the source page or to https://maguyva.ai, link to the license, and say if you changed the text. CC BY 4.0 lets you give credit in any reasonable way for your medium. For datasets and training corpora, we consider keeping each page's URL with its text to be enough.
4. What Is Not Licensed
The Maguyva name, logo and other trademarks and brand assets are not licensed under CC BY 4.0, and credit to Maguyva does not imply that we endorse your use. The license also does not cover:
- Software and source code, including the Maguyva MCP server and client packages, which keep their own licenses
- Fonts, audio, images and other media on this site, which keep their own licenses
- The hosted Maguyva service, its API and its MCP endpoint, which the Terms of Service govern
- Third-party names, trademarks and quoted material
5. Crawlers and AI Systems
Search engines, AI assistants and training crawlers are welcome to read, index, cite and train on this website. Our robots.txt and /.well-known/ai-policy.json say the same thing. This license applies to public website text only. It never applies to customer repositories or account data, which we do not train on.
Code snippets and configuration samples in the docs and on this site, such as MCP config blocks, install commands and cookbook examples, are licensed under MIT No Attribution (MIT-0): copy, change and use them without giving credit. (MIT-0)
